Radiant Heat Systems for NJ & PA

Radiant Heating Flooring

Comfort, Efficiency, Savings

How many times have you found the perfect spot for your furniture, only to realize that a radiator or vent was in the way? Have you walked barefoot into a tiled room and then wished you hadn’t? Do you sometimes wonder why you bother to turn the heat up when you’re only warm while the hot air is blowing?

Radiant heat provides the ultimate in comfort, convenience and consistent warmth, and Schaible’s is the radiant heating specialist for New Jersey. A type of hydronic heating, radiant heat uses hot water running through tubes beneath your floor to evenly disperse heat through a room.

Since rooms heated in this way have no cold spots and don’t go from ‘all-out heat’ to no heat at all, radiant heat is highly efficient as well as very comfortable. Radiant heating also frees your living spaces from the constraints of baseboard and radiators, giving you more actual living space.

The combination of comfort, increased usable square footage, and cost efficiency can increase the value of your home, offsetting some of the installation cost—and that cost is lower than you might think, since we can install it within concrete slabs, between joists, or beneath a subfloor. Radiant heating isn’t just for new construction, so ask us to include it as an option when it’s time to replace your heating system.

Did we mention that it feels great to walk barefoot into a radiant-heated room? The subtle, comfortable warmth underfoot is a nice reminder of the good choice you made - and so is the reduction in your heating bill.

Inconvenience and discomfort are optional. Let us send an expert to evaluate your home so you can find out just how easy and affordable radiant heating can be. In the meanwhile, here’s some information on radiant heating from the U.S. Department of Energy.
